How to Get to Mr.Mantter near Taichung Station

Mr.Mantter is at No. 271, Sec. 1, Taiwan Blvd., Central District, Taichung City. From National Freeway 1, take the Taichung (Taiwan Boulevard) exit onto surface roads and drive straight along Taiwan Boulevard toward Taichung Station. After you pass the Second Market, you will find Mr.Mantter across from Bank of Taiwan.

From Taichung Station
Mr.Mantter is one of the hotels closest to Taichung Station. When you arrive at Taichung Station, take the exit toward Taiwan Boulevard and walk straight along Taiwan Boulevard for 700 m. When you see Bank of Taiwan, you will see Mr.Mantter too.
If you have heavy luggage, you can take a bus from the stop in front of the first McDonald’s on Taiwan Boulevard. Get off at Second Market (Taiwan Blvd.) and Mr.Mantter is right there.
From THSR Taichung Station (Wuri)
When you arrive at THSR Taichung Station (high-speed rail), you can take a taxi or Uber, or transfer to a Taiwan Railway (TRA) train to Taichung Station.
THSR to taxi
The taxi pickup area is near Exit 7. Take the escalator down and turn left to find the Taiwan Taxi line. Please ignore drivers outside the line who approach you for rides.
THSR to Uber
After you book a ride in the Uber app, go to the taxi pickup area near Exit 7. Take the escalator down and turn right to find the “Meeting Point 4” sign. Your Uber driver will meet you there.
THSR to TRA train
In the THSR Taichung Station hall, follow the signs to the TRA station. You will pass the station’s shopping arcade on the way to Xinwuri Station, where you can buy a ticket to Taichung Station. If you are not sure how to buy a ticket, ask at the service desk and the staff will help you.
By Taichung City Bus
All of the buses below stop at Second Market (Taiwan Blvd.), the closest stop to Mr.Mantter. If you are not sure about the direction, ask the driver before boarding whether the bus goes to Second Market (Taiwan Blvd.).

From Taichung International Airport
By car (about 40 minutes)
Take Provincial Highway 10 toward Taichung → Get on National Freeway 1 toward Xitun District → Continue on National Freeway 1 toward the Taichung Interchange / Sec. 3, Taiwan Boulevard / Provincial Highway 12. Take Exit 178 (Taichung) and continue toward Taichung → Keep left onto Sec. 2, Taiwan Boulevard / Provincial Highway 12. After you pass Sanmin Road, Mr.Mantter is on your right.
By bus (about 1.5 hours)
At the Taichung International Airport stop, take bus 9 (toward the National Library of Public Information) and get off at Second Market (Sanmin Rd.). Turn left onto Taiwan Boulevard and walk about 3 minutes. Mr.Mantter is on your right.

By car (about 2 hours)
Take Hangqin North Road and Hangzhan North Road to National Freeway 2 → Follow National Freeway 1 to the Taichung Interchange / Sec. 3, Taiwan Boulevard / Provincial Highway 12 in Xitun District. Take Exit 178 (Taichung) from National Freeway 1 → Follow Sec. 2, Taiwan Boulevard (Provincial Highway 12) toward Taichung → Mr.Mantter is on your right.
By bus (about 2.5 hours)
At the Airport Terminal 2 stop, take bus 1623 (toward Taichung Transfer Station) and get off at Taichung Prefectural Hall. Cross the street, turn right onto Pingdeng Street, and walk straight to Taiwan Boulevard. Mr.Mantter is across the street.
By train (about 3 hours)
Take the Taoyuan Airport MRT to Taipei Main Station, then take a southbound TRA Tze-Chiang Limited Express train to Taichung Station. Walk about 10 minutes along Taiwan Boulevard. Mr.Mantter is on your left.
By high-speed rail (about 2 hours)
Take the Taoyuan Airport MRT to Taipei Main Station, then take a southbound THSR train to THSR Taichung Station. Transfer to a northbound TRA local train to Taichung Station, then walk about 10 minutes along Taiwan Boulevard. Mr.Mantter is on your left.
