Privacy Policy
The Mantter Company (“Mr.Mantter”, “we”, or “us”) operates the official website mrmantter.com. This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you browse our website, book through it, or contact us. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

What Data We Collect
When you browse our website, analytics tools record browsing data such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the referring website, your device and browser type, and your approximate region. This data does not directly identify you.
When you book through our website, the booking pages are provided by our partner online booking system (at book-directonline.com). The name, contact details, stay dates, and payment details you enter on the booking pages are processed by the booking system under its own privacy policy and then provided to Mr.Mantter to arrange your check-in.
When you contact us by phone, email, or social media direct message, we keep the name, contact details, and inquiry you provide.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to handle your booking, check-in, check-out, and room services, to reply to your inquiries, and to provide stay-related services such as luggage storage and receiving packages on your behalf.
Browsing data is used to measure website traffic, improve our website content and usability, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not provide your personal data to third parties, except to the service providers listed below, where required by law, or with your consent.
Cookies and Analytics Tools
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Our website uses two types:
Essential cookies and browser storage: these remember your cookie settings and keep the website working. They cannot be turned off and are not used to track you.
Analytics and advertising cookies: these are on by default and include:
- Google Analytics: measures visitor numbers and how pages are used.
- Meta Pixel: measures visits and bookings that come from Facebook and Instagram ads.
The first time you visit our website, a cookie notice appears at the bottom of the screen. If you do not want to be tracked, click “Decline tracking”. Meta Pixel will then stop sending data, and Google Analytics will stop setting or reading cookies; it only sends anonymous signals without cookies or identifiers, used to estimate overall traffic (Google calls this Consent Mode). If you change your mind later, click “Cookie settings” in the footer to choose again, or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Third-Party Services
Some pages on our website embed Google Maps and YouTube videos, and fonts and icons are provided by Google Fonts and unpkg. When this content loads, these providers may record your browsing information under their own policies.
Our website also links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, and the booking system. Once you leave our website, please refer to each site’s own privacy policy.
Data Retention and Security
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above, unless the law requires otherwise. Our entire website uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and internally only staff who need to handle bookings and services can access personal data.
Your Rights
Under Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, you may make the following requests to us regarding your personal data:
- To make an inquiry or to review it.
- To request a copy.
- To request supplementation or correction.
- To request that we stop collecting, processing, or using it.
- To request its deletion.
You may choose not to provide personal data, but we may then be unable to process your booking or provide related services.
