Liuchuan Waterfront
Liuchuan Waterfront is a riverside walkway in Taichung. In 2023 the Taichung Christmas Carnival held a LINE FRIENDS display here that drew big crowds. The path follows the Liuchuan River and is a nice place for a walk and photos with family or friends.

About Liuchuan Waterfront
The Liuchuan Waterfront walkway in the Central District runs along the Liuchuan River for about 1.5 km and is about 10 m wide. Trees, flowers, and plants line both sides. Along the way there are rest areas, pavilions, fitness equipment, and a children's playground.
The walkway has hosted Taichung's Christmas events. During the 2023 Taichung Christmas Carnival, a LINE FRIENDS theme lit up the path with characters such as Brown, Cony, and Moon for visitors to take photos with, along with displays of Taichung foods such as sun cakes and bubble milk tea set in the water. There were also water dance shows during the light festival.
Weekdays and daytime visits are less crowded. To avoid parking hassles, you can take a bus or ride a bike to the area and walk in. There are many restaurants, hotels, and sights nearby to combine with your visit.
Liuchuan Waterfront combines greenery with city life, and it is a pleasant place for a walk in downtown Taichung.
