iFG Farglory Plaza Taichung (formerly Taroko Mall) is behind Taichung Station, easy to reach, and is one of the earliest department stores in Taichung's East District. Its history goes back to the De-An Shopping Center and New Era Shopping Center, which opened in 2001. It reopened with a new look in July 2015 and became a local commercial hub. At the end of 2025, Taroko transferred its operating assets to Farglory Retail, and from 2026 the mall became iFG Farglory Plaza Taichung. Farglory has said the final name will be announced by the end of the year.
